Hyundai India has taken the wraps off the all-new Venue, showcasing its fresh exterior and redesigned interior ahead of India launch on November 4. While the compact SUV retains its familiar powertrain options, it has grown in size and gained a far more upmarket look and feel.

The latest Venue is slightly larger than before, measuring 3,995 mm in length, 1,800 mm in width, and 1,665 mm in height. This makes it 48 mm taller and 30 mm wider than the outgoing version, while the wheelbase has increased by 20 mm to 2,520 mm — translating to better proportions and more cabin space.

In line with Hyundai’s “Tech Up, Go Beyond” design language, the compact SUV now sports the aesthetic seen in larger siblings such as the Creta, Tucson, and Ioniq 9.

The front end features quad-beam LED headlights and twin-horn daytime running lights flanking a dark chrome grille. At the rear, horizon-style LED tail lamps are connected across the width, complemented by bridge-type roof rails and C-pillar detailing that add visual flair.

The interior has received one of the biggest upgrades in this generation. A new curved display panel dominates the dashboard, integrating two 12.3-inch screens — one for infotainment and the other for the digital instrument cluster.

Hyundai has retained physical knobs and switches for climate and media controls, striking a balance between modern tech and usability. Other highlights include dual-tone leather upholstery, ambient mood lighting, rear sunshades, a powered driver’s seat, reclining rear seats, and a D-cut steering wheel.

Powertrain options remain familiar: a 1.2-litre Kappa petrol engine (82 bhp, 113 Nm), a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol (118 bhp, 172 Nm), and a 1.5-litre diesel (114 bhp, 250 Nm). These are paired with multiple transmission options including a 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual, 6-speed automatic, and a 7-speed DCT. A diesel automatic has also joined the lineup this time.

The 2026 Hyundai Venue will be offered in seven trims — HX2, HX4, HX5, HX6, HX7, HX8, and HX10. Once launched, the Venue will rival the likes of the Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, and Kia Sonet, in India’s competitive compact SUV space.
